A member of the aroid family, Araceae. ZZs are native to Zanzibar, Kenya, and Eastern Africa.
Light: Bright, indirect light but tolerant of low light conditions (perfect for a Baltimore rowhome!)
Water: They have super thick roots, stems, and leaves which make them extremely drought tolerant. Water when the soil has completely dried out!
Pet safety: Mildly toxic to pets; ingestion will cause vomiting, mouth and stomach irritation.
