Phlebodium aureum is native to rainforests in South America. It is also known as Blue Star Fern or Hare Foot Fern for it's fluffy, rhizome feet.
Light: Bright to low indirect light. Can tolerate lower light but thrive in medium light. No direct sun.
Water: Water when the soil is about 25% dry or less (about an inch). Footed ferns are a bit more drought tolerant than other ferns. The feet absorb moisture from the humidity in the air.
Repotting: Repot into a nutrient rich, moisture retentive soil. It is best to repot into glazed ceramic or plastic pots to help retain moisture. If repotting into unglazed clay or terra cotta, keep a close eye on watering.
