Compost can be applied to houseplants by as topsoil or as a mixing component.
Top the existing soil with a 1-2 inches of compost or make your own mix by incorporating the compost into the soil mix when repotting a plant. We recommend 1 part Farm Feast for every 3 parts of your soil mixture.
Apply 3-4 inches of Farm Feast to the landscaping area and incorporating it deep into the soil for trees or shrubs.
For lawns, we recommend annual application in early Spring and Fall. Add a depth of 1⁄4-1⁄2 inches to a core aerated lawn. Rake the compost into the aeration holes, and water thoroughly if seeding was applied.
Apply compost to your gardens soil at a depth of 1-2 inches and then incorporating it into the top 6-8 inches of the soil. For deeply rooted plants, increase compost application rate and incorporate deeper into the soil.
To start seeds, we recommend a potting mix of 2 parts Farm Feast, 2 parts coco coir and 1 part pumice or rice hulls.
