Chamaedorea cataractarum palms are able to adapt to a variety of light levels, but prefer bright indirect light (keep out of direct sunlight-this burns the fronds). Cat palms do not require additional humidity, but appreciate high humidity levels via a humidifier or pebble tray. Water this palm when the top 50% of soil is dry, ideally with filtered, distilled, or rain water (tap water may cause browning of the frond edges).
